1902
Dollar defined in gold
In 1902 the dollar is already defined as 25.8 grains of gold, nine-tenths fine. There is no Federal Reserve. The panic is 1907.

The Gold Standard Act of 1900 defined the dollar in gold: 25.8 grains, nine-tenths fine. That definition is in force. This year does not rewrite it.
There is no central bank. The Federal Reserve Act is 1913, after the panic of 1907. The classical gold window is still open.
